1 Month Before the Surgery
- Begin massaging your scalp daily for 10 to 30 minutes to improve blood circulation and prepare the scalp for surgery.
- Maintain a healthy scalp in preparation for the procedure.
2 Weeks Before the Surgery
- Stop consuming alcohol.
- Avoid smoking.
- Refrain from cutting your hair.
1 Week Before the Surgery
If you’re using blood thinners, discontinue them under your doctor’s supervision. Additionally, follow these guidelines:
Do’s:
- Wash your hair before the surgery.
- Wear comfortable clothes that do not require pulling over your head.
- Eat a light breakfast on the day of the procedure.
- Inform your surgeon if you experience fever or shortness of breath before the surgery.
- Avoid any form of exercise starting one week before the surgery.
Don’ts:
- Do not drink alcohol before the surgery.
- Do not dye your hair before the surgery.
- Do not take any supplements without your doctor’s approval.
- Avoid energy drinks for at least 3 days before the surgery.
- Do not smoke for at least 3 days before the surgery.
- Do not take any medications before the surgery unless your doctor approves them.
- Avoid greasy and fatty foods for at least 10 days before the operation.
